Wow, what a creative post you have designed, comparing a wharepuni to a modern house. I really like how you have created a diagram to clearly show the similarities and differences and included pictures. You have done an amazing job.
You have noticed some great differences about the two buildings. Have you ever been to a wharepuni before? I would love to hear about your experiences? I have been lucky enough to visit a number of wharepuni's around my home town of Taupo. What I love learning about when I visit these beautiful buildings, is the carvings and hearing the story that they tell. What stories have you heard about that are displayed in carving around the wharepuni?
