My Bio Poem
Is…
Lazy like an indoor cat
Timid like a person behind a book
An annoying little sister to win or lose an argument
Relative of…
Daughter of Tapu and Via
Sister of Joe and Hepi
My love…
Parents because they have been there for me since day one
Siblings because they are my best friends forever
Playing soccer with friends and family
My dreams…
Reuniting with old friends and family in Gisborne
Walking on the Zhangjiajie glass bridge
Riding roller coasters
My fears…
Losing my family by them dying
Failing in school and making bad choices
Disappointing my parents by not trying hard school
Who would I like to see…
I would like to see any of my family who sadly passed away
The “Why Don’t We” band
Disneyland because I haven’t been there and it would be a good time to be with my family
Who is determined to…
Travel the world to places I wish to go to
Achieve in school to help my parents
Do good, not bad choices
My values…
Family because they will be on side
Friends I make now and have till I die
And my spiritual father in heaven where God lives
My three qualities…
Using my manames anytime
Helping others with my gentle hands
Honesty to others without hurting their feelings
Three things of being proud of…
Trying my best in school
Not disappointing my dad with my marks in school
Trying to learn things in time without giving out attitude
A description of the town…
The town is busy with a lot of noise with the siren of the police cars beeping out loud
People doing exercises like walking, running, and bike riding
Kids my age and a little bit older would be going to the park but mostly to the centre

My Poupou Art Reflection
Poupou Art Reflection
1. What did you accomplish?
I accomplish making a Poupou ensuring the eyes were big, the tongue was out and that there was a puffed chest on my poupou.
2. Are you satisfied with your poupou artwork?
Why / Why not?
Yes, because it’s different from the other poupou.
3. What did you find easy when you created your Poupou artwork?
What I found easy was tracing
and knowing what I wanted my poupou to look like.
4. What did you find challenging when you created your Poupou artwork?
Drawing the poupou by hand
because I’m not good at drawing.
5. What do you need to work on?
I need to work on the shape patterns by add more and show less white.
6. What would you change,
modify / adjust with your Poupou artwork?
I would adjust the body because of its fat with an in between fat and skinny head.
7. What would you do next time to improve your Poupou artwork?
I would like to improve on shaping the body so that it is big and that it has muscles. Also, I would like to improve on using other colours and to split the areas up into thirds so I’m colouring in three parts.
My Daffodil Art
In the beginning, Miss Paton gave us three papers to colour in.
We used the side of the crayons on the concrete outside.
Then dyed our papers - yellow, orange and green.
After dying our papers we had to wait for them to dry.
We then dyed our papers three more times.
On the back of the yellow paper, we traced daffodil petal stencil eighteen times.
We then glued the petals on this plain paper disc.
We then cut the green paper diagonally from corner to corner to makes a triangle.
We started folding it a little then start rolling with up to the end.
We glued ensuring it was thin.
The orange paper required us to trace three rectangle shapes.
We cut them out and rolled them into a cylinder shape.
We folded the paper 1cm and cut slits along.
These were gluing tabs. From there we glued the cylinders and folded the slit inwards. We glued the cylinders onto the daffodil flowers.
Once the cylinders were dry we cut little slits to make the trumpets look real.
I then glued my stems onto the daffodils.
We then got more papers to rub crayon against the outside.
The papers were for the borders, vase and the extra stem.
I used violet, red, blue and green. I had to dye my papers three times.
After this, I used a ruler and measured 2cm from the edge of the black paper.
Once I plotted along my black paper, I joined the marks together to make a border.
I then had to plot 2cm along my coloured paper.
Once I did this I cut my paper into strips and tore each strip into pieces and glued
it along the black paper.
Miss Paton then showed me how to make the origami vase.
I then glued on my vase.
Placed my flowers on the paper, where I would like them to go.
Then I glued my flowers onto the black paper.
